Aleksandra Tevdoska is currently pursing the Master of Music in Flute Performance at Georgia State University in the studio of Sarah Kruser Ambrose. Originally from Tetovo, Macedonia, Aleksandra received the Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance from the Cyril and Methodius State University of Skopje, Macedonia in 2012. Her primary teacher was Straso Temkov.
Ms. Tevdoska has won international competitions for solo flute and chamber music in Italy, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Macedonia. She has also participated in master classes with Emmanuel Pahud, Mario Caroli, Michel Belavance, Emily Beynon, Bulent Evcil, Luigi Bisanti,NorbertGirlingerandMosheAronEpstain. Aleksandrarecentlyservedasflute instructor at the State Music School in Prilep, Macedonia and has taught privately for many years. She was a principal flutist of “Cyril and Methodius” State University’s symphony orchestra and Macedonian radio television (MRT) for three years. Aleksandra is currently a performing member of the “Drijada” Trio and the “Aulos” Flute Quartet. Trio “Drijada” is comprised of flute, clarinet and piano and has an extensive repertoire list from Classical, Pop music and Jazz, whereas “Aulos” Flute quartet performs only Classical music and this year this ensemble was nominated for “The best ensemble” on the well- known Music festival “Virtuosi”.
