village life (representational abstract and non-objective)

The representational artwork represents actual objects from real life. Abstraction takes an object from real life but put them in a different way from the reality, or Sometimes artists view the subjects in a non-realist way that can make Abstract artwork. The third type of art mostly looks like Abstract art, but it has no reality. Non-objective art is made only for artist reasons.

  1. Hi Amna,
I enjoyed the artworks you chose to represent representational, abstract, and non-objective artworks. I like that you also used a theme for the spectrum, which is not easy to do!

  2. Hello Amna,
Nice theme. I enjoyed your artworks especially by Marc. Chagall. It symbolizes the happiness within village life and its qualities. The last artwork is extremely nice as it uses repetition to express the structure of a village.

  3. Hi Amna,
Great job on your theme! I agree with Sara choosing a theme is a bit complicated but you were able to accommodate the right images well from representational to non- objective. I really like the representational artwork from Haystack. It reminds me of where i was raised as a young child. We had donkeys and horses to travel instead of vehicles. This picture bought good memories back.

  4. Great use of theme for this – this is a new (and not before seen) theme for this assignment so I was delighted to see something different. Good organization of the images and description of their varying degrees of representation. Great job.
