Infographics
Infographics are about informing the audience in a visual way. Use basic design principles and fun graphics to help your audience retain the information you wish to share.
Tips for design
- Unless necessary, avoid overly complicated, distracting color schemes. Four colors can be more than enough.
- Layout your full graphic using basic shapes and text you may have already written. This will help you figure out the over all look when it’s time to create the final work.
- Plan your text. Use short, concise statements.
- Use appropriate charts and imagery for your information.
- Make sure ideas represented by text and images flow in a clear manor. Usually top to bottom, left to right (much like ideas in an essay).
