Welcome!
We are pleased to announce the 2022 Atlanta Symposium on Political Science (ASOPS), hosted by the Political Science Department at Georgia State University on February 26, 2022. ASOPS is an opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students to present on-going research – at various stages – in a low-pressure environment. Participants will have the opportunity to hear research from their peers, receive feedback from Georgia State faculty, and network with other students and faculty in their areas of interest. The deadline for application is January 13, 2022. ASOPS will be hosted in-person at the College of Arts and Sciences Event Center (2nd Floor of 25 Park Place).
This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Elizabeth Schmitt from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. See more about Dr. Schmitt in our Keynote Speaker page. Her keynote address title is “Trait-based gender stereotypes and electoral contexts: When do women candidates fare best?“
