My expert interviewee was Christianne Palpant, a GSU professor within the Media Enterpurship program. Ms. Palpant has her own business and shares terrific insight and advice on my business venture. She thought the idea of dropping off clothes & gaining money was an excellent idea!! She thought it was even better to make a website and have all those clothes for sale. Making it an online thrift store. She felt the start-up capital would be so low and a very feasible idea! She gave me points to pitch my idea to Goodwill since they would be my most significant competitor. I would be making Goodwill my partner by sharing my vision and teaming up with them to make a website portion since they are already a big corporation. I thought that was interesting!! She gave me other ideas on how to expand my website to keep evolving and never stale, giving the website different features that even retail websites don’t have (for example: like trying features).
