SUMMARY OF CONTENT

Depression

There is a growing need for affordable senior housing options for low-income older adults as the population ages. Housing instability contributes to negative health outcomes. It is important for practitioners and policy makers to be aware of housing realities for an increasingly diverse and aging US population.

This module includes information and resources on senior housing options for older adults, available housing programs, and information on health effects of unstably, inadequate housing conditions.
