During later life, older adults experience physical, social, and emotional transitions. Resilience is the ability to cope successful when challenged by significant change or adversity. Resilience involves multiple domains including biological, psychological, social, and spiritual functioning.
This module provides an overview of a resilience model and interventions to enhance coping and resilience in older adults . The podcast included within the module provides examples of resilient older adults, including those who have survived the Holocaust.
