Austin Phillips is an art student, studying to be an animator. he is currently an undergrad student at Georgia State University Permiter College. what makes Austin different from other artists, is that he’s had many setbacks in his life that have kept him from reaching his goal. For example, when he first began his art major wasn’t the first choice that he chose but instead, he’s done computer science. Austin didn’t pursue animation in the being because he was told that he wouldn’t make enough as an artist. but regardless of all the struggle and naysayers, he’s trying to power through to get better at his passion for art. Austin is still working hard towards getting his associate degree so he can transfer to another school.

Austin’s artwork centers around still drawings and surrealistic pieces. he tries to find realism and fantasy so he can find a middle ground to balance everything out.
