The goal of Project 3 is to develop scenes of real-life places with two or three-point perspectives. The senses in Project 3 will then tie into the sequential narrative for Project 4. Then, Project 4 aims to use different media like watercolor, stippling, hatching, and cross-hatching that we’ve done in class. We will use this media to create a story about our heroes. The stories in Project 4 will all have three parts: intro, rising action, and climax.
process: In Project 3, I used toned paper to draw the three different sceneries with a pencil. I added color depth to my art piece by tracing over my drawing with a brown color pencil. However, I had to redo part of it again because everyone used different mediums, including toned paper. I redid the skylift and my friend’s bathroom using the big watercolor paper and the bristol paper with ink and coloring pencils. In Project 4, I made short stories in comic book form using panels while incorporating the same sceneries from Project 3. I drew everything with a pencil and then inked the story with Black Magic ink. I eventually added watercolor to get a sense of value and texture. I Learned how to make stories in comic book form while also knowing how to use text boxes.
