introduction: Project 5 required us to understand the linear perspective and atmospheric perspective to draw an object and have it meet a singular point. Then we use linear perspective knowledge to go on and make a two-perspective drawing. The materials we would use for Project 5 are leaded pencils and 18 X 24 sketchbook paper to draw the library to get the gist of what we’re doing. Then we used black magic ink and Bristol paper for our watercolor painting of the classroom.

project 4

Name of Artist: Austin Phillips

Date Completed: Nov 6, 2023

medium 1: crow quill pen and Higgins Black magic ink

medium 2: tone paper and conte crayon

medium 3: Drawing Book paper 18 x 24 and Conte Crayon

introduction:

Project 4 strives to use hatching, cross-hatching, and stippling techniques to draw bell peppers with a crow quill pin. For this project, it is required for us to use black magic ink because it’s washable and way more practical for our assignment. For part B of project 4, we used tone paper and Conte Crayon to draw and create values in our skull. The conte crayon is used to create shadow and or lighting for the skull so we can accurately see it. Then For Part C, we used the same values and Materials that was done in Part B to do our selfportrait. The only diffrernce was that there was a type of paper that the rest of the class used but I ended up using my Sketch pad paper instead to do my portrait.
