I never knew that it was good netiquette to leave a group that doesnt interest you. Im in many groups that ive been invited to and thought it was rude to leave so i just muted the news feeds and updates. Glad to know its finally appropriate to go delete myself!!
This App is Fab! It helps keep control of money and alerts you if you go over budget. Helps with your saving and making it easy to see all in one spot. Its Nice because you have see your spending history and compare months in charts that are visually appealing. The best part of the app is making a budget and automatically being able to to carry over to the next month. It defiantly makes you conscience of your spending.
Selfcontrol is great for students like myself who are easily distracted. You can input apps and websites that are distracting you from being productive. The app will make these websites unavailable for a period of time until you can finish your work. It will make your study time for productive!
Currency: Website appears to be updated on a regular basis. Current news that appears on daily channels
Relevance: There only USA information. Relevant to people inside the USA or interested in what is happening in the county.
Authority: Authors names appear at the end of each article
Accuracy: Information coincides much of what is being reported on other new sites. No insight on source of article information.
Purpose: Factcheck in a project of the Annenberg public policy center. The purpose of the website is to keep USA citizens current on regional issues. Issues, which affect the USA. Very strong political influence.
Currency: NO information indicated on dates. No current news appeared that happened within last 72 hours.
Relevance:. Nothing seemed relevant.
Authority: Although there is a specify tab about standards of credibility, I don’t believe the site is very credible. Does not state who wrote all article and there is no tag to compare articles of similar information. Additional websites claims 100% transparency from raw date uncited sources. How credible could that be?!?!
Accuracy: Information is not current. Website has poor layout and is hard to navigate around.
Purpose: Just Facts Daily is a website dedicated to providing crisp, factual analyses of recent news and current events. we publish extensive research on major policy issues, but at justfactsdaily.com, we sort fact from fiction among the constant torrent of news reports, commentaries, and political pronouncements.

Google just happens to be my meta-search engine of choice. I swear I go to google for everything! I was surprised to see wikipedia as a common between all three. I thought I would find more information about flights to and from Bermuda although only jetblue was advertised. I never use bing, but thought it appeared to be quiet reliable as the information given was legitimate. The gotobermuda – the official tourism site appeared on all three websites. I assumed that would be the #1 hit for engine although it was not. Google was ideal to me as it had relevant news – which is important to me. Although wikitravel was on bing which I have never heard of before. Yahoo seemed to be generated by advertisement as both hotels and flight information was top searches.
1. Be aware of deadlines & meet them!
– Some might find it helpful to even make their own deadlines to hand in work early!
2. Its crucial that you maintain a reliable internet source at all times!
– Missing important information can jeopardize your learning & course outcome.
3. Make an action plan and stick to it!
– Do this in the beginning of the semester before your course load piles up!
– start when you have time to focus and make good goals that will aid your success and an online student!
