For this project we focused on just negative space and line. We studied the space between the objects we were drawing. The whole process was about looking at the spaces between those objects and focusing on where all the objects were positioned in aspect of each other. In class we drew from still life and then were asked to go home and draw the underneath of our kitchen or bathroom sink.
I drew the underneath of my kitchen sink. I studied in detail the shapes of the different bottles. I studied the space between everything and where everything was positioned. We drew in between an area of about 12″x18″.
