Henrietta Antonin is an Atlanta native who attended Clark College and served the Atlanta Life Insurance Company for 46 years. She was vice president of the public relations branch and many say she was the face of the company. Antonin was incredibly important for the social advancement of the company, due to her providing representation for black women. Outside of the company, she implemented a voter registration program in Atlanta in 1962 which helped to register over 100,000 African Americans. Antonin was a true inspiration for black women of the time and still today, who struggled to find representation in the business world.
