The new Creepy-Crawly on the block

Line Becomes Form: The Creepy-Crawly

GOAL: Design and build one singular volumetric sculpture built from an activated line that interrupts space. To do so, you will utilize wire of various widths, organized into a well-thought-out structure of planes, held together through a system of knots and ties

Smintee

Smintee – male (3 tails)
Sminmee – female (2 tails)
Sminbee – newborn to year old

Live & party in water for 12 hours. 6 hours on land and other 6 hours moving around for new location.

20/20 vision

Smintee/mee is a bug I created combing different creatures together. The eyes and body were inspired by bees but have a wide fish lens. My bug has two sets of wings. The upper body is from the butterfly family, and the bottom adopted their wings from the dragonfly. The two mixture of the tails helps them fly high in the sky. The most significant feature of the Smintee and Sminmee are their tails, which are similar to a crawfish tail to help them survive in water.
