Hello!
Welcome! We’re glad you’ve found us, whether you are a current user of our product or thinking about adopting our service in your recovery journey. Either way—we’re happy you’re here.
We value making a personal connection here, so allow me to tell you the journey that led me to create this service. I am not in recovery myself, but have known and loved many in active addiction, from family members to friends, and from success stories to unhappy outcomes. This is why I know firsthand how messy, complicated, and up-and-down recovery can truly be. How problems cannot be solved in a linear or one-size-all approach, and how every case must be treated independently, with dignity and a personalized approach.
My background in clinical psychology has led me to a certain empathy and understanding towards such sensitive matters. I realized quite a while ago that many found me a comforting ear, a reassuring voice, and an understanding—rather than judgmental—pillar in their recovery journey. I realized that I enjoyed taking this role, and was happy to make a positive impact on these people’s lives.
If you allow me, I would like to make the same impact on your life.
Having used online counseling services myself, and having heard complaints from those in my life, I realized that the entire structure of online recovery apps, such as My SoberBuddy, could be much more effective with some simple changes. This business venture represents such changes—such as 24/7 coach availability, mindfulness training, and abilities for those in recovery to connect—that I believe could make a positive impact on the lives of thousands in recovery.
Recovery is difficult. It is brutal, often unforgiving, and very lonely. If we could ease the burden of that journey even a bit, we want to help you!
Thank you for reading, and all the best on your recovery journey!
