I never really knew much about Chicago and Turabian formatting. I did some research and came to find that the Chicago style is used more for books, magazines and newspapers. The Turabian is used for “general-subject citations”.

There are so many sites that can help you build a bibliography. Endnote and Microsoft word are the main ones but you can also you easybib.com or zotero.com. Both can help you put together your sources to build your bibliography.

When it comes to plagiarism, most of my english professors always told me to cite even if there’s a doubt that you’re taking someones word. So that’s what I always do. The GSU tutorials teach us that if it’s common knowledge then there should not be a need for a citation.
