Internet Privacy

Using spokeo.com, I decided to search the names of my father, mother, and grandfather. At first, I didn’t think I would fin much due to the fact that the internet hasn’t been around for a long a they lived, but to my surprise, it was a lot of information bout them on this site. Being that my family is from a small town in Ohio, I didn’t really believe that this site would know where they were from. another weird thing was that it knew every single city my mother has lived in in her life. The scary thing about this is that this was the free version of the site, so I am scared to see what information they have on version in which you pay for.

It is important for us to use this internet in a safe manner because we might not know it, but everything we click on gives our location. Everything we post on social media will be forever as well. I do not believe information like this should be out there like this because there are some crazy people in this world that do crazy things. People would feel much more safe if we use the internet responsibly. And last point, BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU CLICK ON!
