This summer is going to be my busiest summer yet. I am starting an internship with CVS Health as a management trainee. I am also taking four summer classes at Georgia State in order to complete my degree in the Fall. I am nervous because I will be leaving home and starting a new journey in Atlanta.

CVS Health offered me the position of Store Management Trainee for the Summer of 2021. I am excited to use my economics skills to balance budgets, stock inventory and manage employees. This is in my comfort zone because I love being a leader and being in positions of responsibility. I will excel because I  have experience being a shift leader at a beauty supply store. At the beauty supply I  also stocked inventory, managed a schedule and leader my team members to successful sales transactions. 

While completing my internship, I will also be taking four summer classes at Georgia State. I am graduating in the fall and have a few classes left before I am done with my degree. The class I’m most excited about is my senior capstone with a teacher I’ve previously had before. Transitioning to Atlanta this summer to pursue my dreams will be difficult but the summer of change can lead me to my goals of being successful.
