Secondary Resources

Some scholarly articles provide helpful information for healing our earth from plastic pollution. Many of these sources focus on plastic water bottles and how they harm people and the environment. For example, Kanhai collected data on the status of marine litter and plastic pollution in the Caribbean Large Marine Ecosystem (CLME). As people continue to use plastic water bottles in their daily lives, they need to learn about the dangers, how more plastic waste is being produced, and even increased plastic pollution. Some people in the world realized these negative effects and began to encourage drinking tap water instead. Let these sources guide learning more about plastic pollution and how it could affect our world.
