The Truth About Plastic Water Bottles

People use plastic water bottles every day in their life, but is it really safe to drink from?

There have been scholarly researches that explain how water quality changes in plastic bottles due to drastic changes in temperatures. The water in plastic bottles would have an increase in fluorine and chloride because of the thin package from plastic bottles. While it is hard to change habits of drinking through plastic water bottles, people should start to try drinking through filtered tap water instead.

National Geographic also made an article about how plastic bottles may become unsafe when exposed to extreme heat. (Click on here to link)
