This drawing was done on a 9 in. x 12 in. piece of grey paper. The outline of the skull was done in regular charcoal pencil, with shading done by smudging the charcoal pencil. The “hot” areas of the skull were done with Conte Crayon “Sanguine XVIIIe” and the teeth were colored in with a white charcoal pencil. This was drawn from a facing, flat angle.
The materials used in this piece are the same as the one above. There is more use of the black charcoal pencil for the shading, this time without smudging. This drawing was done at a different angle, with the skull facing more to its left.
