Art In My Environment

14389067_10207134678661573_50002386_nI walk into this building (Grady Hospital) everyday with a smile on my face knowing that I’m helping save life’s and bringing joy to others. My first impression of this images was the architectural design of the building and the large high panel windows, being in the heart of downtown Atlanta. The image is about dedication and hard work. The details in the photo are the large potted plants, the contrast of the building and the large revolving doors. The image is a 2D dimensional(such as width and height and no depth). The elements presented in the image are shape and contrast, because of the different colors, textures, lines and values. The principles of art displayed in the photo is variety and movement, with the different shape, sizes and the revolving doors. My appreciation for this art is the dedication Grady gives day in and day out to provide patients with great acute care and customer services. Atlanta really can’t live without Grady!
