My name is Alex Chase and I’m a 24-year old graduate student here at Georgia State University. I am in the Master’s program and am working towards a degree in secondary teaching for mathematics. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember although the path I took to get to this point was not the most direct, which I’ll discuss more in my background section. I will be doing my first year as a provisional teaching intern in Fall 2021 at Brookwood High School in Gwinnett County.
