Morehouse College is located in Atlanta just on the western side of the Georgia Dome and Georgia World Congress Center. The campus is located near two other Historically Black Universities in the Atlanta University center, which are Clark Atlanta University and Morehouse’s sister school Spelman college. The nation’s only private historically black college for men, Morehouse has about 2,200 students and twenty-six areas of study. Part of the Atlanta University Center, Morehouse shares cross-registration with both its undergraduate partners.

Morehouse college has a very old school campus that you can tell is full of tradition. The campus has not changed much throughout the years even since the departure of very famous alumni such as Dr. Martin Luther King, Bill Cosby, and Samuel L. Jackson. The old fashioned open learning spaces not only continue the tradition but give the school the college vibe and experience that the students of Georgia State University do not receive. Morehouse has a welcoming open campus that is very connected and shared amongst the three schools and their students in the Atlanta University center.

The classrooms and offices are made up of old school, big, brown, brick buildings.
