The walkways and signage encourages destructive beliefs about wild animals. The walkways of the zoo are made in an easy to navigate way through the animal enclosures by region that they come from “Asian Forest”, “The Ford African Rain forest”, “African Plains” and a section named “KIDZone” that has other animals that are not from Asia or Africa like kangaroos and vultures.

Each area of the zoo includes materials to make it feel like you are actually in that animals environment like the vegetation and the tarnished look of a third world country, but although it looks like that animals environment it does not feel like that environment somewhat of an optical illusion. Many of the animals like Tigers and Kangaroos are not from North America and are not built to handle Georgia’s climate. The beliefs that these walkways and enclosures cultivate is that the animals are comfortable in their environment/habitat. President and CEO Raymond B. King, says “We can look with pride into the rear view mirror at five years of consistent growth and increasing strength as an organization, but what’s most exciting is that our brightest days lie ahead of us…We’re moving forward with a historic expansion of the Zoo that will give new life to the Cyclorama building and create a beautiful new African savanna for our guests to enjoy.”, making it very apparent that the new African Savanna is meant for the enjoyment of the people and not for furthuring the we
