My artwork is a way to replicate how someone can view the connections between public and private lives. You can apply a saying or scripture to any/every puzzle of life. Out of the varieties One can choose, this one fits in between the pieces: “Don’t look out only for your own interest but take an interest in others too” – Philippians 2:4
This project aims to show how people are going beyond their work hours to try to enjoy and show care for others without seeking any material benefits in return. This project leads the viewers to look at the details, not just the picture presentation but the individuals themselves, humanizing them from their previous perceptions, and “overtime” their care in their family, community, and beyond.
In the Christian aspect, you can connect this to the 2 commandments: Love God with all your heart, mind, and soul; love your neighbor as you love yourself.
