This was the first project for my 2023 fall 2D class. It was a surprising experience because I made collages from our own designs. Most pieces were randomly cut and assembled together so that each collage showed a different perspective. Out of the 6 collages, 1 stood out the most.
Starting from the top, the third picture seems to be the best collage because of the likable reference to interior decor. The 2 patterned backgrounds add diversity to the grassed wooden stairway, the picture frame, and the ceiling light.
If I were to do this type of project again, I would try to be more intentional with the shape of my pieces, and add more detailed patterns to my designs.
