Why webcams?

 

Many people have asked me why I like webcams so much. Well in some cases, coming from places with actual winter, I miss seeing snow. But, I also like seeing the outdoors, especially bodies of water.

 

I like to watch the webcam for the Duluth Canal in Minnesota because it’s cool and I’ve been there a few times.

 

I like to watch the Explore.org sites because it’s a mix of places I might never get to see in person or just animals doing fun animal things.

 

My office doesn’t have a window, so a webcam is the next best thing to seeing the outside. It’s especially cool when it’s a place I’ve been, or when it’s a place I’d like to go.
