Welcome to the informational page about this wiki:

GSU Tools wiki is currently in its beta testing form as we develop and test it. For the moment, only 3 students are working on the wiki under the supervision of one faculty member. The entire project is sponsored by the Student Innovation Fellowship, which is in its first year of operation here at Georgia State. Each student on this project does several other tasks and services for the SIF program.

Eventually, we intent to open this wiki up to any student who would like to contribute, including any faculty member who would like to use wiki contribution as an assignment.

Below is a little information about each current contributor to the wiki:

Valerie Robin – is a PhD candidate in the English department working in Rhetoric and Composition. She is interested in digital pedagogy and how technology is changing our cultural values. She has been teaching composition, literature, and ESL for over 8 years in two universities. The Tools Wiki was an idea she generated for her interview for the SIF program and she is excited to see it becoming a reality.

Wafi Momen – is a freshman studying Computer Science at GSU dreaming about the different technologies he could invent instead of just reading and watching media about them.  Due to his name, he is often called “Wi-fi” by his companions as well as 20 other nicknames. Yes, he has a list and is taking recommendations. He specializes in computer programming and knows Java, HTML, and CSS. He hopes to learn more while at GSU and continue searching for the answers that confound him.

Roxanne Greeson – is completing her Master’s in Instructional Design & Technology.  She is an engineering nerd from Georgia Tech with experience in building science nonprofits and now can’t wait to get her ‘paws’ on the latest eLearning software.  She has taught over 1,000+ industry professionals and is looking forward to working with 1,000 more.
