To access your eText and look at a specific section or page number, follow these five steps:  (scroll all the way down for info about the eText app)

1) Log in to MyLab Math and click the “eText” link on the left side menu. 

2) Click on the blue eText link as shown below.

3) This will open the eText in a new tab.  (Be patient because this may take 30 – 90 seconds to load.)  Click on the “hamburger menu” (the three horizontal parallel lines) at the top left (circled in red below).

4) Click on the “caret icon” (looks like a “v” or an upside down v after you click on it) to expand the chapter and choose the section you’d like to view.   Then, just click on the section you want to read/view. 

5)  Now you can scroll through the pages by clicking the arrows next to the page number at the top as shown below.   (You can also type in a page number – where you see the “14” in the box below.  Type in the page number and hit “enter” to go to a specific page.)

*You can also download an app for the iPad (from the App Store) or for Android tablets (from Google Play) called “Pearson eText”.  After you download the app, sign in with your current MyLab Math username and password.  Click on the “cloud” to download the Thinking Mathematically textbook.  Then follow steps 3 through 5 above to navigate through the text.  If you use a laptop to do homework, it can be nice to have the eText open for reference on your iPad as you work.  For more information about the benefits of the eText app, see https://www.pearson.com/us/higher-education/products-services-teaching/course-content/textbooks-and-etexts/pearson-etext-app.html.
