Ryan Grelecki, JD

Ryan C. Grelecki, J.D., is the CASA Faculty Associate for Pre-Law Programming. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Legal Studies in the Risk Management & Insurance Department in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Professor Grelecki brings both breadth and depth of experience in the legal industry to CASA.

Prior to teaching, Professor Grelecki practiced law for several years in two of the nation’s largest law firms, focused on commercial litigation, electronic records management strategy, litigation avoidance and general business counseling. After full-time practice, he gained invaluable experience in various facets of the legal industry. He worked as a legal recruiter placing attorneys in law firms and corporate legal departments all over the country. He was then the manager of attorney professional development at another of the nation’s largest law firms, overseeing all training initiatives for attorneys, designing developing, and delivering programs to attorneys at all levels in connection with both hard and soft skills. Upon exiting law firm life for good, Professor Grelecki ran his own solo law practice. Prior to law school, Professor Grelecki worked as a Technology Analyst with Accenture, deploying CRM software solutions at large telecommunications companies. He has also worked as Director of Business Development for the Atlanta-based tech start-up, Kredible Technologies. Beyond teaching, Professor Grelecki also provides business development consulting services to law firms and other professional services providers.

Professor Grelecki is a Certified Practitioner of the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument® (HBDI®), a behavioral science methodology uncovering individual thinking styles and preferences, leveraging this tool in his work with students.
