Both Online Classes for Summer 2020 Are Full to Capacity

If you still have interest in the Virtual Advanced Topics in Neuroscience: Neurological Disorders class scheduled for June 29 – July 3, 2020, please email NeuroscienceSchool@gsu.edu to be placed on a waiting list.

Virtual Classes: Open to high school students who have completed 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade prior to start of class. (Our on-campus classes have different age restrictions due to national guidelines regarding access to research laboratories.

Summer 2020 Costs

  • Neuroscience Bootcamp – $550 (maximum of 20 participants)
    • Virtual Offering – $400 (maximum of 25 participants)
  • Advanced Topics in Neuroscience: Optogenetics Lab – $550 (maximum of 10 participants)
  • Advanced Topics in Neuroscience: Neurological Disorders – $550 (maximum of 20 participants)
    • Virtual Offering – $400 (maximum of 25 participants)
  • Three-Day Scientific Writing Camp – $330 (maximum of 25 participants)

Tuition Assistance is available to those students who demonstrate need by qualifying for the Free and/or Reduced Lunch Program through their school system (documentation required). Requests must be emailed directly to NeuroscienceSchool@gsu.edu. Assistance amounts vary based on the number of full-tuition students balanced with the number of requests for assistance.

Tuition discounts for siblings (one per family) and multiple course registrations (one per student) are available.

Registration remains open until courses are full.
