I am a storyteller. At this stage in my life, after years as a writer and marketing consultant, I am eager to start telling stories not just with words, but with pictures too.

At home during the Covid-19 pandemic, I gave myself permission to play – and found great joy in making collages using black and white images. I expanded to working in acrylics and other media on canvas. From there, I went on to explore and experiment and just go for it. 

Making art has helped me find more joy and wonder. Through art, I am able to tell new stories –  or old stories in new ways – especially to my young granddaughter, with whom I enjoyed an hour of ‘story time’ on Facetime every day during Covid.
