3D Atlanta Oculus Rift Session on Weds 4/27

It is super excited to hear that after suggesting to have an oculus rift session in the library, Brennan worked wonders by talking to Bryan, who loved the idea as part of a stress reliever during finals week in the library. The SIF team will officially be showing how the 3D Atlanta project is coming along through Oculus Rifts in Library North 1st floor from 10 AM-4 PM. It is very exciting as we have planned to have a session like this for 2 years now, and we finally have a few building blocks ready for preview. I am super pumped. I will be working with Kaydee Wilson, communications coordinator for the library, to design a digital sign to put up on the screens of the library, and possibly working with Dylan to help revamp the SIF site, and particularly the 3D Atlanta site. This project will be gaining more internal press after the TEDxGeorgiaStateU, and the Oculus Rift session. Stay tuned for more updates on the project.

Til next time,

About Krisna Patel

Hey everyone. The name's Krisna and most describe me as a bubbly, outgoing, fun-loving gal. I'm a British-born Indian who is a senior undergraduate majoring in Marketing and Computer Information Systems at Georgia State University with dreams of traveling the world and helping build homes with charities, such as Habitat for Humanity. I want to have a career in social media marketing, and perhaps dip my feet into application programming. During my spare time, I like to watch soccer, write music, and binge watch a good TV show. I hope to learn more of how technology is advancing and more ways of how it can help us on a daily basis, especially at GSU. Other aspirations include adding to my list of foreign languages. I speak fluent in Spanish, Gujarati, and Hindi, but would like to learn Portuguese, Arabic, and Swahili.
