Student Research

As part of the Honors Colloquium course, students have been asked to choose from several projects based on their personal interests and skill sets. This approach allows students from diverse majors to work on what is most relevant to their own educational path while also learning important civil rights history. Each project is a component of the larger purpose of the initiative: to reveal the parts of Atlanta’s history that are often forgotten or taken for granted.

All project pages include a description of the project, as well as any materials such as writing, imagery or audio that has been collected in the process. Students can also post blog entries marked with their project’s category, which will be linked to from the project page.
