Grads Mentor Grads: What You Need to Know about the Dissertation Prospectus–Mar. 21

The Graduate English Association is excited to announce the next Grads Mentor Grads session will be “What You Need to Know about the Dissertation Prospectus.” This session will be held on March 21 at 9:30 AM in Troy Moore Library and will cover information on and related to the dissertation prospectus process for Creative Writing, Rhetoric and Composition, and Literary Studies.

Join us for this event as Doug Hall (Rhetoric and Composition), Jocelyn Heath (Creative Writing), and Jennifer Olive (Literary Studies) discuss the general experience of preparing the prospectus from the end of comprehensive exams to defending and turning in the necessary paperwork and everything in between. We’ll also offer our own insights into the process from what a prospectus looks like for each program to how to put together your committee. At the end of the session, we would also like to hear from you and help answer questions about the process.

Questions regarding this session can be directed to Jennifer Olive.
