Carla is a postdoctoral associate in the Forger lab. Carla received her BS in Biology from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. Then she obtained the PhD in Neuroscience working in the laboratory of Dr. Julia Cambiasso in the Mercedes and Martín Ferreyra Institute in Córdoba, where she investigated the role of sex chromosome complement in sexual differentiation of the brain. During the last year of her PhD, she completed a one year-research stay in the laboratory of Dr. Luis Miguel Garcia-Segura in Madrid, Spain. As a postdoctoral associate in the Forger lab, Carla is studying the role of epigenetics on the development of sex differences in the brain. Carla loves to travel to new cities and learn about new customs and cultures. She also likes reading and spending time with her family.
