Best Practices recently produced and published a webinar that will provide administrators with the knowledge to support teachers throughout each stage of a WSO Rating Period. The webinar is available on the Project Directors page at the Bright From The Start website, “Work Sampling Online for Administrators” is about 40 minutes long and includes information on
1. the purposes for assessment using Work Sampling Online
2. the stages and parts of Work Sampling Online
3. screening classes for high quality evidence
4. using Work Sampling Online reports to monitor teachers’ progress and students’ achievement.
While written for an audience of administrators, much of this webinar is also valuable to teachers, especially veteran teachers who may desire a refresher on how to collect high quality evidence and complete each part of Work Sampling Online.
