These media projects, like more traditional papers and presentations, can be used to exhibit achievement of course goals such as research, collaboration, deeper understanding, critical thinking, and, of course, communication.  At the same time, media projects also provide new opportunities for student engagement and exposure to visual literacy, media research, writing for the Internet, and technology skills that will further promote success both in and out of the classroom.
