From all class participation, major projects, in-class work, extra assignments, etc. All points accumulated through assignments will be recorded and tallied on Google drive.

What is the attendance policy?

You earn points(10) from coming to class and points for class preparation (10); points(10) are deducted for unexcused absences or arriving to class late. The course also follows GSU’s attendance policy.

What are the two ways you can lose points?

Absences/being late and not turning in projects on time.

What are my office hours, and how do you make an appointment to see me outside of class?

Office hours are T/R 9:00-11:00am; email for appointments.

Participation credit can be earned by completing tasks in and out class. Some examples of these tasks include class preparation assignments, group  participation, visiting office hours, and completing Lynda.com tutorials. 

How many points can you earn by participating in or organizing a study group session?

Up to 25 points.

How can you be assured of earning an “A” in this course?

Obtaining 2,180 points by attending class, turning in major projects on time, and completing extra tasks.

What are the minimum requirements for earning a passing grade of “C”?

If you do the bare minimum: complete all major projections, come prepared to class, and miss only four class meetings.
